Via the Living Lab Dutch and Canadian universities (of applied sciences) can work on (biobased and circular) educational developments and joint applied research projects with partners in both countries: this apart from the regular student mobility program. We mean by educational development: curriculum building, minor development, special education programs such as pressure cooker weeks and biobased/circular economy MOOCs.
Applied research also plays a major role in the internationalization of higher education. In collaboration with government bodies and companies, universities distinguish it selves internationally as an international knowledge partner for applied research issues.
